Partners for Breast Cancer Care
Breast Cancer Care is a non-profit organization that pays for breast health care for uninsured, low income Lee County women and men. This includes health appointments and treatment. They use funds provided by From Our Hearts, Inc. to provide services for Pine Island Residents who need financial assistance. There is a referral service for clients who need help with food, medical, and counseling.

A New Dawn, Inc. is a private boutique which provides mastectomy bras, breast prosthetics, swimsuits, wigs and hair pieces, scarves and hats. Dawn Love, owner, is a certified fitter.

Started by a cancer survivor, this site offers a huge selection of head coverings, affordable prices, resources on coping with hair loss and expert wig advice.
Saks Fifth Avenue-Naples
Saks Fifth Avenue of Naples provides prosthetic aides for mastectomy patients. They carry Commando Silicone bra inserts and Commando Fashion Form bra inserts.
Senior Friendship Centers of Lee County
Senior Friendship Centers of Lee County provides a contiuum of care by utilizing retired volunteer physicians and other health care professionals. Low-income, uninsured women ages 50-64 are eligible for physical exams, scheduling, clinical breast exams, baseline and annual mammograms, individual education, help with transportation as needed, and follow-up.

Genetic Risk Services
Genetic Risk Services provides you with information on how to determine if your cancer is hereditary or not. The information includes what their services are, how an evaluation might benefit you, what you can expect to happen during your visit, what their genetic counseling includes, and if cancer risk counseling is right for you.
Lending Book Library at Regional Cancer Center
Lending Book Library is a section of Regional Cancer Center with a variety of books and pamphlets on cancer. You may check them out with a deposit of $5. It also has computers for your use in research.
Cancer Resource Center
People who are new to the United States are often unfamiliar with the common practices and usual expectations of doctors and other medical professional who take care of those with cancer. The Cancer Resource Center, with input from colleagues from throughout the country, developed a brief description of these customs, and the Translator Interpreter Program is translating the English version into other languages.
American Cancer Society “tlc” Catalog
The American Cancer Society provides a catalog that features products to help women cope with the effects of breast cancer. “tlc” contains hats, turbans, twists and head wraps, wigs, prosthetics, mastectomy bras, and specially made swimsuits.You may shop from the privacy of your own home. The catalog also provides tips on how to wear hats and scarves.
The Beau Beau
Beau Beau provides a catalog of differently designed scarves for hair loss. It is a fashionable alternative to wearing a wig. Also included in the catalog are sleep caps, headband scarves, tote bags and gifts for cancer patients.
The Knitting Experience Cafe
The Knitting Café provides and makes knitted breasts for mastectomy patients. The knitted breasts may be used in place of prosthetic breasts. There are patterns to knit your own or one for a friend.
The Rapunzel Project
The Rapunzel Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to help chemotherapy patients keep their hair during treatment. The project creates the awareness that hair loss during chemotherapy may be prevented in some cases through the use of cold caps. It provides the equipment to facilitate this process.
